The 718 Spyder RS is the convertible counterpart to the Cayman GT4 RS and the most powerful open-top 718. It uses the same 911 GT3-derived 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six, producing 500 PS (493 hp) at 8,400 rpm and revving to 9,000 rpm, driving the rear wheels exclusively through a seven-speed PDK. A lightweight manual fabric top replaces the GT4 RS's fixed roof. Porsche quotes a 0-100 km/h time of 3.4 seconds (0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds) and a 308 km/h top speed. It marked the pinnacle of Porsche's mid-engined roadster line, which ended after the 2025 model year.
