The M3 Competition xDrive is the all-wheel-drive flagship of the G80 sedan range and the first M3 ever offered with anything other than rear-wheel drive. Its 3.0-liter S58 twin-turbo straight-six was lifted to 390 kW (530 PS; 523 hp) and 650 N-m (479 lb-ft) for the 2025 model year, driving all four wheels through an eight-speed M Steptronic automatic with an M-configurable rear bias. BMW quotes a 0-60 mph time of 3.4 seconds, with top speed electronically limited to 155 mph (180 mph with the optional M Driver's Package). It remains the best-selling M3, blending four-door practicality with launch-control traction.
