The 2024 Porsche 911 GT3 RS carries over the 992 GT3 RS introduced for the 2023 model year, with a 518-hp (525 PS) flat-six that revs to a 9,000-rpm redline and drives the rear axle through a seven-speed dual-clutch PDK. Its extensive aerodynamics, including an active two-part rear wing and front-mounted DRS, generate substantially more downforce than the standard GT3 at the expense of a lower top speed. In October 2022 a Weissach-package car lapped the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 6:49.328 on the 20.8 km configuration.
