The 718 Boxster is the soft-top roadster counterpart to the 718 Cayman coupe, sharing the 982 platform and the same mid-mounted 2.0-liter turbocharged flat-four. The engine produces 300 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque, driving the rear wheels through a standard six-speed manual or optional seven-speed PDK. A power fabric roof opens in around nine seconds. Porsche quotes a 0-60 mph time of 4.7 seconds with PDK (4.5 seconds with the Sport Chrono Package) and a 171-mph top track speed. The 718 line was discontinued after the 2025 model year.
