Arriving for the 2026 model year, the BMW M2 CS is the hardcore, special-edition version of the G87 M2. BMW M boosts the 3.0-liter twin-turbo S58 inline-six to 523 hp and 479 lb-ft and pairs it solely with an 8-speed M Steptronic automatic driving the rear wheels. Carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic for the roof, trunk lid, mirror caps and rear diffuser trims nearly 100 pounds versus the standard M2, and CS-specific adaptive dampers, stiffer springs, a 0.2-inch lower ride height and standard 19/20-inch forged wheels sharpen the chassis. BMW claims 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds and a 188-mph top speed; independent instrumented testing recorded 0-60 in 3.8 seconds, a 1.07 g skidpad, and a 110-foot 60-0 stop.
