Introduced for the 2020 model year, the 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 replaced the earlier turbo-four GTS with a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six shared in detuned form with the GT4. The mid-mounted six makes 394 horsepower and 309 lb-ft of torque and revs to 7,800 rpm, driving the rear wheels through a standard six-speed manual or optional seven-speed PDK. Porsche quotes a 0-60 mph time of 4.3 seconds and a 182-mph top track speed. The GTS 4.0 is widely regarded as one of the most engaging variants of the 718 line, which ended after 2025.
