The 2025 BMW 530i xDrive Sedan is the all-wheel-drive entry model of the larger, heavier eighth-generation (G60) 5 Series on BMW's CLAR architecture. Its B48 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four makes 255 hp (259 PS) and 295 lb-ft of torque, augmented by a 48-volt starter-generator mild-hybrid system, and drives all four wheels through a ZF 8-speed Steptronic automatic. BMW quotes 5.8 seconds for the xDrive's 0-100 km/h sprint, and the EPA rates the car at 30 mpg combined. At just over 199 inches long on a 117.9-inch wheelbase, the G60 is the longest, most spacious 5 Series yet, and shares its body with the all-electric i5.
